OK! I know. You thought you were going to find out on this page what happened to Nanoose after her rescue. I, too, wish to know where she is, where she has been, and if she indeed had those babies. But I am afraid we will have to leave that mystery to the whale researchers to unravel. If I hear anything from them, I will be sure to let you know. So check back here often. In the meantime, if you see a humpback whale, wave! It may be Nanoose.
For now, I am going to tell you about a project I started here.
Just like the brave men who set Nanoose free in our story, I am slowly releasing copies of The Rescue of Nanoose into the world on their own adventures. I am asking people to take The Rescue of Nanoose with them to where they travel and leave them in public places. Whoever finds a book is asked to read it, share it, and, when (s)he is finished with it, to leave it somewhere else for others to find. In this way, I hope the books will travel far and be enjoyed by many people. I also hope that the people who find the books will take the time to write me and tell me their stories, and in this way also help me track the books' journeys.
Perhaps soon I will have some interesting stories to tell you. That will be very exciting!
